In Middle Eastern cultures, bread represents life, sustenance, and hospitality. Shared among family and friends, breaking bread signifies unity and togetherness. At Sarma, the breads reflect that same spirit — playful, generous, and creative. In this class, Tess will share recipes for sweet potato challah, scallion malawach, focaccia with za’atar, and Sarma’s iconic Black Sea cornbread.
