Welcome to Sofra, a casual cafe, bakery and specialty food shop. The sweet and savory tastes of Turkey, Lebanon and Greece are served here with a contemporary twist. Order from the Meze Bar or choose one of our stuffed flatbreads or shawarmas. Dive into a traditional Turkish breakfast; or grab a Turkish coffee and a Tahini-brown butter donut for a sweet treat to go. In our store you will find house-made preserves, prepared foods, signature spice blends and carefully sourced ingredients that let you take a taste of Sofra home.

True to its name, Sofra is an inviting space that transports guests to another place.

SOFRA IS A TURKISH WORD THAT MEANS A PICNIC, A SPECIAL TABLE PREPARATION OF FOOD OR A SMALL SQUARE KILIM RUG for eating. 

Sofra Bakery is the second location created by the Oleana Restaurant Group, and was established in 2008 by Executive Chef Ana Sortun, together with business partner & Executive Pastry Chef, Maura Kilpatrick. While traveling in Turkey, still deciding on the name for the bakery, Ana and Maura would ask the locals what the word “Sofra” meant to them. They were amazed at how the word instantly brought a smile to people’s faces.
