Managing Ourselves - A 1-Day Workshop with Ari Weinzweig of Zingerman's

Join us for an inspiring day of learning with Ari! When everything is said and done, the key to your organization’s success comes down to how well you manage yourself as a leader. Being able and aware of how to adjust how you lead is all but guaranteed to yield more productive, effective work. 

Participants will learn about Zingerman’s approach to Managing Ourselves with the aim of being a better leader, improving your organization, and ultimately leading the life you want to lead. Filled with real-life stories and practical tips you can apply in your everyday life as well as a look at the big picture—drafting a personal vision—this workshop will leave you energized and inspired to focus on yourself as the next step to taking your business/career to the next level.

During the workshop, you’ll enjoy breakfast by Sofra and lunch by Mamaleh’s Delicatessen.

Who is Ari? What is Zingerman's?

In 1982 Ari Weinzweig and his partner Paul Saginaw opened a small, 25-seat delicatessen. Today the Zingerman's Community of Businesses includes 10 different businesses (all in the Ann Arbor area) with over 700 employees and close to $65 million in annual sales.

Zingerman’s approach is applicable whether you're running a law office, a library, a restaurant, a record label, a software firm, or an organic farm, with behind-the-scenes "secrets" that are invaluable in building a special, sustainable business of any kind.
