From the hilly Greek countryside comes an array of vegetables and our wonderful friend and Greek food authority, Aglaia Kremezi! She has not only gone back to her roots, with seasonal vegetarian foods she was raised on, but she has also opened a window into a world for cooks across the globe to learn how to make simple, yet extremely flavorful meals. You’ll be struck by the taste of love when you try some of the dishes from her new book, Mediterranean Vegetarian Feast prepared by Chef Ana Sortun and Chef Maura Kilpatrick. Recipes include: Skordalia—garlic and almond spread; Savory olive oil biscotti; Rolled pie with peppers, walnuts and raisins, Cauliflower gratin with feta; Chickpeas and toasted bread with yogurt-tahini sauce; and Pumpkin-tangerine marmalade bread. Chef Ana will demonstrate one of Aglaia’s recipes and you will receive an autographed copy of the book so you can bring both the traditional and new styles of healthy Mediterranean cooking home!
